As a first-generation graduate of Weber State University, I earned a bachelor's in social work and a master's in professional communication. Since 2019, I have advised Weber students in GEAR UP & TRIO programs, first-year learning communities, and pre-professional programs. I spent over a year at the University of Utah as the Pre-Health Advising Coordinator, supporting students from diverse backgrounds as they prepared for various pre-health pathways.
I look forward to continuing to support Weber State premedical professional students in planning for prerequisites, increasing competitiveness through extracurriculars, preparing personal statements and activity descriptions, and guiding them through the application process. As noted above, please start by attending an information session to understand common prerequisites and how to engage in extracurriculars. Attendees will be added to a Canvas course with a variety of planning and tracking resources. For students in the Canvas course, begin reviewing those resources and to discuss your questions and set attainable goals.
I look forward to supporting you in your pre-health pathway, wherever you are in your journey!
