How do I sign up for an Advising & Registration Day?

You will find the link to RSVP for an Advising & Registration Day in the last Intro to Weber module. They are offered a few times during the summer and academic year. If you have limited internet access, please contact the orientation office and we can register you for an in-person event and you can come at 8 a.m. to complete the Intro to Weber online modules on campus prior to our official start to Advising & Registration Day.

Is New Student Orientation in person?

We offer both in-person and virtual options for students to attend based on their location, preferences, and needs.

Can I complete New Student Orientation and register for classes while on a mission?

In certain situations, yes. Many mission authorities allow small amounts of personal time for educational tasks. We recommend completing your Intro to Weber Online modules on a prep day as you near the end of your service.

  • If you are serving outside North or South America, please email orientation@weber.edu for specific orientation accommodations.
  • Registering via family member or supporter: If you return close to the semester start, you can authorize a family member to meet with an academic advisor/register for you.
    • To do this:
      • Complete the Student Information Release Form in your student portal.
      • Ensure you complete Intro to Weber first.
      • Your supporter can then meet with an Academic Advisor to check off the second step of New Student Orientation.

Important Notes: The Release Form does not allow others to log into your student account. Sharing login credentials is a violation of the Student Code. Family members/supporters must contact university offices directly for assistance.
